The swim in the shallow, clean water of Lake 1, a letter "M" shape with safety canoeists, exits straight into transition. The flat bike is 95% TT course, very fast! The run around our venue is about as flat as you could wish! A P.B. course which you will find hard to beat. Your entry fee includes free BBQ after the event, for which your bib number is the voucher.img

New from 2017: An AQUABIKE finish line. If you are unable (or simply choose not) to do the run for any reason, such as an injury, we will publish results of your swim and bike times as an Aquabike event. There is no special entry or registration for this, so even if you simply retire after the bike or an old injury comes to get you on the run, you will get an Aquabike finish time. Any awards may depend on numbers.
Registration: from 06:30,  First wave starts: 08:30.
On-line entries: will close at 8pm on the preceding Thursday.
Entry in advance: £55. If you are 65 or over by Dec 31st in the race year, you race FREE with us in our weekend multisport events, unless otherwise stated.
Entry on the day: will be available subject to capacity, £65, cash only at registration please. I believe we have never yet turned away an athlete on the day of a race. You could print and fill in our postal form (see [Race entry] at top of page) and bring it along, which is easier for you and us at a busy registration desk.
Race pack: We don't send out a race pack in the post, everything is handled at registration on the day. No worries.
Pre-race emails: are normally sent the day after on-line entries close.
Chip timing: This event will be chip timed, subject to sufficient numbers.
Event Records: Male 01:54:07, Female 02:13:02 (Some courses have altered over time)
Team Entries: Relay team entries of 2 or 3 people are welcome at all our multisport events, see Race Entry page for details. You pay for just one race entry, unlike other promoters' races.
Race Format / FAQ: How does race day work? How does a Triathlon work? Check out our FAQ here, especially the section marked Race Day.
Marshman Std Tri 2020 date: yet to be confirmed.
More info: We're introducing a club competition for the Standard race. Each South-East registered tri club can enter one or more teams of 3 named members of any/mixed gender, each of whom will race the whole triathlon as individuals but will also earn points for their group of 3. First place overall would get 1 point, 2nd=2, 23rd=23 points etc. Points for the 3 members are added up and the team with the least points wins the club competition. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd team will be £250, £150 and £100. If there are more than 10 teams, prize money will increase pro-rata. Details may change as ideas develop at Velocity Towers but you get the idea, so start training.
Wetsuits will be compulsory.
