not as many teams made it to Lydd for our 2nd year of Team sprint relays , the recent date change from Sept 29th to Sept 15th (the venue was already booked for the 29th) meant many who wanted to take part were already committed elsewhere , however , the teams who did take part enjoyed a fantastic mornings racing , the action was fast on this flat course and good times were recorded , the weather was blue skies , sunshine and just a light breeze – perfect !Continue reading →

- BRT rule at the evening tri …………… (1st Aug, 2019)
with Dan Marshman leading the field it was a great night for the contingement from Bexhill Runners and Triathletes , Francis Burnham took top spot in the ladies , also racing for BRT . The lake was choppy but the variety of places we can enter /exit meant that it was a sheltered shoreline swim to the turning bouy then a dash back across the lake with a tailwind to the exit .The bike was a challenge out to the turn at jurys Gap but coming back was fast . The run was the straight up dengemarsh to the turn and back to a welcome finish line .Well done to Ashley Newbery on his first-ever Triathlon .
Next and last race in the evening series is Weds 14th August – reg opens 5.30pm – race starts at 6.45 .Continue reading →
