Thank you to everone who took part in the 1st South Kent Duathlon on Sunday . The weather was on our side for a change (after Steyning , Eynsford , etc ) and that slight breeze was about the least you can normally expect for the venue . Comments so far seem fairly favourable and i may even be able to get another similar event arranged for Fowlmead for possibly early November , let me know your views on that one.

Congratulations go to our male winner , Keith Brown of Tonbridge tri and  our lady winner , Emily Bright of East Grinstead Tri who both put in solid performances to take the honours .Well done also to Malcom McKinnon and Jacqueline Pearson who both made their debut Duathlon the South Kent .

Finally a mention of an athlete who at the tender age of 71 (age group N ) is still turning up and giving a good account of himself at this and many other events throughout the year , John Brown of Maidstone Harriers.
